Braintree Lions have been taking their train to schools and fetes for over 30 years. Giving children, young and old, rides.
This simple and free project is designed to help save lives in the event of a medical emergency.
Lions are known for the 'Sight work'. This is just one of the projects we support.
Braintree Lions presented a cheque to Lyons Hall School to help refurbrish their libary.

At Easter, Braintree Lions will placed Easter Eggs in ten local pubs and a town centre business. These eggs are being raffled with all proceeds going to local causes. On Saturday the 7th December, the Braintree Lions will host a Christmas dinner for some of Braintree’s more senior citizens. They will enjoyed a traditional Christmas meal and a visit from Father Christmas.
Braintree Lions are again hold our Annual Raffle. Draw to be made by Santa on Wednesday 1 th December at The KING WILLIAM IV London Road CM77 7PU. Tickets are £1.00 each. First prize £200 meat voucher from a well known local butcher. Second prize £100 Braintree Village Shopping Voucher Third prize £50
Our 2020 Festival We will be open from 11am to 11pm on Thursday 11th June, Friday 12th June and Saturday 14th June Entry £2 + £2 deposit for the glass. Free entry to CAMRA and Lion members at all times. See you there.
On 24th March Braintree Lions were collecting, at Tesco Great Notley, for the annual Marie Curie appeal. We are very please to announce that the total amount collected by Braintree Lions amounted to a fantastic £550. This is an amazing amount and we would like to thank all of you who so generously donated.
